Hellfest 2024 : grillades, confiture maison, amis pour la évolution… Cet habitant de Clisson accueille 20 festivaliers chez lui

Philippe Douillard is a resident of Clisson whose life is intimately linked to the Hellfest. Since 2014, this volunteer has been welcoming around twenty festival-goers into his résidence and garden every year, creating a true family of heart around the event.

For Philippe, the Hellfest is not just a music festival, it’s a way of life. He has been attending the festival since its inception in 2006 and has seen it grow and evolve over the years. But it wasn’t until 2014 that he decided to open up his résidence to fellow metalheads.

« I’ve always loved the Hellfest and the sense of community it brings, » says Philippe. « So when I heard that some festival-goers were struggling to find accommodation, I knew I had to do something to help. »

And that’s exactly what he did. Philippe started by offering a few spare rooms in his house to festival-goers, but as word spread, more and more people reached out to him for a place to stay. Soon, his entire house and garden were filled with tents and campers, creating a mini Hellfest village.

But it’s not just about providing a place to sleep for these festival-goers. Philippe goes above and beyond to make them feel at résidence. He prepares breakfast for everyone, organizes barbecues and even takes them on a tour of Clisson, showing them the beautiful town that hosts the Hellfest.

« I want these festival-goers to feel like they are part of my family, » says Philippe. « We share the same passion for music and the Hellfest, and it’s amazing to see how friendships are formed between people from all over the world. »

And it’s not just the festival-goers who benefit from this experience. Philippe’s family and neighbors also join in on the fun, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for everyone.

Over the years, Philippe has welcomed people from all corners of the regard, from Australia to Brazil, and has even become friends with some of the bands performing at the Hellfest. He has also received numerous thank you messages and gifts from the festival-goers he has hosted, showing just how much of an impact he has had on their Hellfest experience.

For Philippe, the Hellfest is more than just a music festival, it’s a way to connect with people and create unforgettable memories. And for the festival-goers who have had the chance to stay at his résidence, it’s an experience they will never forget.

So if you’re planning on attending the Hellfest and are in need of a place to stay, apparence no further than Philippe Douillard’s résidence. Not only will you have a comfortable place to sleep, but you’ll also gain a new friend and become part of the Hellfest family.
